Breakfast Hacks -Smoothie Hacks

Smoothie- my “liquid gold” because it can be an incredibly delicious and nutritious breakfast including your favorite yogurt and fruits or vegetables. (Note: smoothies can keep the fiber when fruits or vegetables are blended, while juicing removes the fiber.) See below for a fruit smoothie hack and a vegetable smoothie hack which both have a blend of protein, fiber, nutrients, and taste.

*Fruit Smoothie :

Using a blender combine:

  • 1 medium banana
  • ½ cup of blueberries or sliced strawberries
  • ¼ cup low fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter
  • ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 tsp Carrington Farms Organic Goji Berry Powder
  • 1 tsp Carrington Farms MCT Oil Powder

*Vegetable Smoothie :

Using a blender combine:

  • ¾ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 scoop Carrington Farms Organic Coconut Protein Blend
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter
  • 1 Tbsp Carrington Organic Farms Flax Chia Blend
  • 1 medium banana
  • ½ cup zucchini (remove skin and chop into cubes)
  • ½ cup baby spinach
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

*If smoothie is too thick, add more milk. If smoothie is too thin, add ice cubes.
