Easy Seared Scallops


  • 1 pound large scallops
  • 2 tablespoons Carrington Farms Organic Ghee
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced thin
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
  • Additional lemon wedges, to garnish


  1. Add ghee to a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Once melted, add the garlic cloves.
  3. Cook garlic for 2-3 minutes then remove from pan and set aside.
  4. Pat scallops dry, season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add scallops to the pan, making sure they aren’t touching other.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip.
  7. Once scallops are cooked through, squeeze the lemon juice into the pan and toss the scallops to coat
  8. Garnish with parsley, serve with additional lemon wedges, serve and enjoy!
