Healthy and Delicious Turkey Tacos

Healthy and Delicious Turkey Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground organic turkey

Seasonings

  • ½ cup salsa
  • ½ cup guacamole
  • 2 Tbsp Carrington Farms Organic Whole Flax Seeds
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground chili powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp each sea salt and black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Carrington Farms Coconut & Avocado Oil Blend

Taco Assembly

  • Lime wedges
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Tortillas of choice
  • ½ cup guacamole
  • ¼ cup diced onions

Directions

  1. Coat a sauté pan with Carrington Farms Coconut & Avocado Oil Blend. Add organic ground turkey until browned.
  2. Mix salsa, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, flax seeds sea salt, and black pepper in a medium bowl until well-combined. Add to ground turkey in pan.
  3. In a dry pan, lightly toast corn tortillas for 30 seconds on each side on high heat. Set aside on a plate with a damp towel over your stack of tortillas till ready to serve.
  4. Assemble ground turkey mixture on top of warm tortillas and top with fresh cilantro, diced onion, guacamole or your favorite taco toppings. Garnish with lime wedges to squeeze on top.
