Low-Carb Flax Turkey Meatloaf

serves 4-6

Ingredients:

1 pkg lean ground turkey breast

1 egg

1 bell pepper, chopped small

1/2 onion, chopped small

4 tbsp Carrington Farms organic milled flax seeds

2 tsp mustard

1 tsp of each: garlic powder, ground mustard, black pepper, turmeric, dried ginger salt is optional

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl, mix all ingredients until well-combined. There is no need for bread in this recipe, as the flax seeds replace it for a much healthier option.

Spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray (Carrington Farms Coconut Oil Cooking Spray works so well!) and press meat mixture inside. Bake for about 45 minutes or until an oven thermometer reads 180 (perfect poultry temperature).

Enjoy with a side of vegetables.
