Ultimate 4-Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ultimate 4-Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp melted Carrington Farms Organic Ghee
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 tbsp finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Pinch black pepper
  • 4 slices fresh crusty bread, about 1 cm thick (or any bread you have)
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup shredded Gruyere cheese

Directions

  1. Mix ghee, parsley, Parmesan, garlic and pepper until well combined. Spread the ghee mixture evenly over one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Taking the unbuttered side of 2 slices of bread, place a slice of Cheddar.
  3. Then, mix the mozzarella and Gruyere and sprinkle over the Cheddar slices. Place the 2 remaining slices of bread on top, to form two sandwiches (ghee mixture side out)
  4. Heat up a pan on your stove (over medium-high heat), coat the pan with more ghee (1-2 tbsp).
  5. Place your sandwiches in pan and heat about 4 minutes. Bread should get browned and cheese should be melting. Flip to the other side until both sides of bread are browned.

Removed from pan and enjoy!
