Mushroom Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
(2 servings)
- 2 tsp Carrington Farms Mushroom Powder
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- ⅛ tsp hot chili powder
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 2-3 whole star anise
- 4-6 cardamom pods, ground
- ⅓ cup dark chocolate, grated
- whole star anise and ground cinnamon for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- Blend the almond milk, cacao, vanilla sugar, dark brown sugar, salt, chili and Carrington Farms Mushroom Powder in a blender until combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a saucepan and add the chocolate, star anise and cardamom.
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate has melted and the mixture has slightly thickened.
- Pour into two mugs, garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon and a whole star anise and enjoy!
