Teriyaki Cauliflower and Ghee Steak
It's grilling season and there is no better way to kick it off with this mouthwatering recipe.Ingredients:
- Carrington Farms Organic Ghee
- Carrington Farms Ghee Cooking Spray
- 1 head cauliflower
- 2 tbsp of salt and pepper
- ¼ cup liquid teriyaki sauce
- 4 tbsp Carrington Farms Organic Milled Flax Seeds
- 6 tbsp Carrington Farms Organic Flax Cooking Oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 2 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ cup cilantro, chopped finely
- 1 Steak
Spray the grates with Carrington Farms Ghee Cooking Spray and preheat the grill to medium high.
Slice the cauliflower head into ½ inch slices. Place in a baking dish and pour the liquid teriyaki sauce, the salt and pepper and 3 tablespoons of the Carrington Farms Organic Flax Cooking Oil over the cauliflower steaks and carefully toss the cauliflower to coat. Let sit at room temperature while preparing the rest of the dish.
Brush the steak with Carrington Farms Organic Ghee.
In a small bowl, add the remaining 3 tablespoons of Carrington Farms Organic Flax Cooking Oil, lemon zest and lemon juice with the cilantro and mix well. Set aside.
Place the cauliflower on the grill and baste with the reserved teriyaki sauce. Grill for 3-4 minutes on each side or until grill marks appear and cauliflower is cooked to your preference. Place the steak on the grill and grill for 4 minutes on each side or until your desired doneness.
Place on a serving platter and brush the cauliflower with the cilantro mixture and top with Carrington Farms Organic Milled Flax Seeds. Serve immediately.
