Broccoli Bites With Homemade Mustard Sauce
This delicious, fiber packed, high protein recipe goes perfect with a zingy mustard dipping sauce made with our Mustard Seed Oil.
Ingredients:
For the broccoli bites:
- 1 head broccoli, trimmed
- 1/4 of a yellow onion, diced
- 1/3 cup Carrington Farms Keto Bread Crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black better
For the mustard sauce:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 8 drops liquid stevia
- 3 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Carrington Farms Mustard Seed Oil
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400° F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. When the water is boiling, add the broccoli and cook for 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is vibrant green in color. Use a slotted spoon to remove the broccoli from the boiling water and immediately submerge it into a bowl of ice water.
- Drain the broccoli and pat it dry. Add it to the bowl of a food processor along with the onion and pulse until everything is broken down and coarsely chopped. Transfer to a large bowl.
- Add the Carrington Farms Keto Bread Crumbs, eggs, cheese, and spices and stir until well combined.
- Spoon the mixture into tablespoon-sized bites, shape, and place on the prepared sheet tray.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- To make the mustard dipping sauce, whisk together all ingredients until smooth.
