Broccoli Bites With Homemade Mustard Sauce

This delicious, fiber packed, high protein recipe goes perfect with a zingy mustard dipping sauce made with our Mustard Seed Oil.



For the broccoli bites:

  • 1 head broccoli, trimmed
  • 1/4 of a yellow onion, diced
  • 1/3 cup Carrington Farms Keto Bread Crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese 
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black better

For the mustard sauce:


  1. Preheat the oven to 400° F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Set aside. 
  2. Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. When the water is boiling, add the broccoli and cook for 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is vibrant green in color. Use a slotted spoon to remove the broccoli from the boiling water and immediately submerge it into a bowl of ice water. 
  3. Drain the broccoli and pat it dry. Add it to the bowl of a food processor along with the onion and pulse until everything is broken down and coarsely chopped. Transfer to a large bowl. 
  4. Add the Carrington Farms Keto Bread Crumbs, eggs, cheese, and spices and stir until well combined. 
  5. Spoon the mixture into tablespoon-sized bites, shape, and place on the prepared sheet tray. 
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. 
  7. To make the mustard dipping sauce, whisk together all ingredients until smooth.
