MCT Spice Booster Shots
Ingredients:
For Lemon Ginger MCT Shot (makes about 12 oz):
- 1 medium-sized orange, peeled & roughly chopped
- 1 medium-sized lemon, peeled & roughly chopped
- 4-5 inches of ginger root, roughly chopped
- 2 inches of turmeric root
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup coconut water
- ¼ tsp Carrington Farms Organic MCT Oil
For Everything Green MCT Shot (makes about 12 oz):
- ½ apple, roughly chopped
- 3 celery stalks, roughly chopped
- ½ cucumber, roughly chopped
- ½ cup spinach
- ½ - ¾ cup coconut water
- ¼ tsp Carrington Farms Organic MCT Oil
For Carrot Apple Turmeric MCT Shot (makes about 12 oz):
- 4 carrots, roughly chopped
- ½ apple, roughly chopped (any variety)
- 2 inches of ginger root, roughly chopped
- 2 inches of turmeric root
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1½ - 2 cup water
- ¼ tsp Carrington Farms Organic MCT Oil
For Immune Boosting MCT Shot (makes about 12 oz):
- 1 cup blueberries
- ½ cucumber, roughly chopped
- ½ lemon, peeled & roughly chopped
- 2 Inches of ginger root
- 1 ¼ cup water
- ¼ tsp Carrington Farms Organic MCT Oil
Directions:
- For each MCT Spice Booster Shots recipe, add the respective ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
- If you prefer a pulp-free shot, pour the liquid over a fine mesh strainer or triple-layered cheesecloth positioned over a large bowl.
- Transfer the liquid into 2oz jars (one MCT Spice Booster Shot preparation will give you 6 shots). Store in the fridge for up to 7 days or in the freezer for up to 30 days.
