Protein Packed Avocado Toast
Ingredients:
- 2 slices bread of choice
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/4 cup firm tofu of choice
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Carrington Farms Organic Flax Chia Blend
- 1 scoop simply tera’s organic whey protein powder, plain unsweetened
- 1 tsp avocado seasoning mix (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Carrington Farms Organic Ghee for pan frying
Directions:
- Drain and lightly press tofu. Crumble the tofu with a fork or your hands. This removes the need to press the tofu.
- Add the crumbled tofu to a small bowl along with the rest of the ingredients (except the ghee) and mash with a fork until combined.
- Assemble your avo toast masterpiece, heat the Carrington Farms Organic Ghee over medium heat then pan fry the avo toast until golden on each side!
