Holidays Protein Gummies
Ingredients:
- 2 cups applesauce
- 2 cups kombucha or apple juice
- 2 tbsp agave syrup, as a sweetener (more to taste)
- 3 tbsp agar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Carrington Farms Organic Coconut Cooking Oil
- 1 tbsp Carrington Farms Organic Matcha Powder
- 1tbsp Carrington Farms Organic Goji Berry Powder
- 1tbsp simply tera’s organic whey protein, dark chocolate
- 1tbsp simply tera’s pure whey protein, bourbon vanilla
Directions for the Base:
- Add all ingredients into a saucepan. Whisk until the agar dissolves.
- Turn on the stove to medium and heat the puree until it just starts to simmer on the edges. Stir often to avoid burning (this may take 2-4 minutes).
- Divide the base mixture into four separate bowls.
Flavor Variations
Matcha Flavor:
- Add 1-2 tbsp of Carrington Farms Organic Matcha Powder to one bowl and mix until well combined.
- Pour into a silicone mold and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight.
- Add 1-2 tbsp of Carrington Farms Organic Goji Berry Powder to another bowl and mix until well combined.
- Pour into a silicone mold and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight.
- Add 1 scoop Simply Tera’s Organic Whey Protein Dark Chocolate to the third bowl and mix until well combined.
- Pour into a silicone mold and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight.
- Add 1 scoop Simply Tera’s Pure Whey Protein Bourbon Vanilla to the last bowl and mix until well combined.
- Pour into a silicone mold and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight.
Final Steps:
- Set the Snacks: Once set, pop the fruit snacks out of the mold.
- Store: They can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
