NYE Cherry Bombs
Ingredients:
- 1 jar of Reese’s Maraschino Cherries
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp Carrington Farms Organic Coconut Cooking Oil
- Edible glitter (color of choice, e.g. gold)
Directions
Prep the Cherries- Drain the maraschino cherries well and pat them completely dry using paper towels. This ensures the chocolate sticks properly and doesn’t discolor.
- Melt the Chocolate
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate and 1 tsp Carrington Farms Organic Coconut Cooking Oil (to give the chocolate a smooth texture and glossy finish)l.
- Microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Hold each cherry by the stem (or use a toothpick if no stem is available) and dip it into the melted chocolate, letting any excess drip off.
- Immediately roll or lightly dip the chocolate-covered cherry into a shallow dish of edible glitter, ensuring even coverage.
- Place the glittery cherries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
Serving Suggestion: Cherry Bomb Drink
- Choose your favorite champagne (white, rosé, or red/grape).
- Sprinkle a bit of fine edible glitter into the glass for a dazzling touch.
- Drop in a NYE Cherry Bomb, pour the champagne over, and give it a gentle stir.
